Nicole Hopkirk

After studying English at Bristol University, Nic Hopkirk started her career in journalism as a reporter on local papers. But becoming a Lifestyle writer and editor was always the big dream and after a stint at Emap (now Bauer) Nic headed to the Evening Standard online to manage it's Lifestyle and Entertainment pages.

She then became Entertainment Editor at and learned everything there is to know about X Factor and Big Brother before moving to the Daily Mail and then MSN, where she was the Managing Editor of the Lifestyle group of channels for six years.

Her career highlights have included interviewing Kylie and Robbie Williams, enjoying press trips to The Maldives (and Disneyland Paris with her three-year-old son) and trying endless beauty products in the name of research.
