Secretsundaze Easter Special

Secretsundaze is back! Returning for their eleventh season of summer parties whether you’re a house music aficionado, enjoy people watching (who doesn’t? .....they’ll be plenty of serious hipsters on show) or simply like a good party, then Secret Sundaze is THE place to be. After a phenomenal ten years of what started out as a Sunday day time party in secret venues across Shoreditch (hence the name Secretsundaze), we’re excited for the coming season.

Kicking off the bank holiday weekend, their first party of 2012 returns in their long-term favourite venue, Village Underground on Easter Thursday. No stranger to Secretsundaze, having played numerous times, the revered deep house and techno supremo, Lawrence, returns as headliner. Excellent DJ skills coupled with a long standing commitment to underground music makes Lawrence one of the most respected DJs in the realms of dance music. And consequently he’s been signed to not one but three of the highest calibre labels – Dial, Smallville and now Laid.

Also making a welcome comeback to Secretsundaze is Chicago’s finest house DJ, Tevo Howard. Rising to fame with the launch of his label ‘Beautiful Granville’ with the epic track ‘Everyday House Music’ his Chicago gospel is now heard worldwide on the club scene.

The last guest DJ but certainly not the least, is Bristol born, October (from labels – Skudge & TAANSTAFL). Offering a unique sound mixing house, techno, dub and bass drawn from his hometown, he’s been tipped the ‘one to watch’ or rather listen to.

And not forgetting, residents Giles and James Priestly of course will be on the decks throughout the night to ensure you keep knocking out those shapes.
